Life Net Outreach Ministry

Life Net Outreach Ministry

Outreach at Messiah Community Church means so many things.  It can be reaching out to the poor through visits to soup kitchens, senior citizens homes, jails, homeless centers and so much more.  Church doesn’t happen just within the four walls.  For more information about our outreach programs, please email us at:

Jesus said in Matthew 25:40,”The King will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me'."

Random Acts of Love

Random Acts of Love

"By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another." John 13:35 (NASB)

There are many things we can do every day to show others the love and kindness of Jesus Christ.  This could be as simple as holding the door for someone to visting someone who lives alone and needs the fellowship.

We are currenly developing an outreach program that will address some of the simple needs in our neighborhood and those a bit further than our back yard.  For more information contact us at the church or email us at

Replenish the earth.

Your Destiny

If you’re called and ready to grow, Evangelism is your next move.

Complete the work Jesus left for us and enabled us to do.  Messiah’s Evangelism Team has been, ministering for over 18 years.  There are many evangelism opportunities available.  Below are just a few:

  • Every other month we, as a church, purchase, prepare and serve a meal to low income individuals or families through Open Door Ministries.  "For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me..." Matt. 25:35
  • Currently we are ministering to the lost and incarcerated at: Hamilton County Juvenile Court at 2020 Auburn Avenue, the 3rd & 4th Sunday every month from 9 to 10 AM.
  • We are also ministering at Hamilton County Hillcrest Training School on the 2ndSunday from 8: 30 to 10:30 (2 services).
  • We are ministering at Butler County Juvenile Detention 7 to 8 PM 1st Sunday of every month.

Luke 10: 2:  Therefore said He unto them, the harvest is truly great, pray ye therefore that the Lord of the harvest, would send forth laborers in to His harvest.

Our work outside the four walls of the church is very important.  We don’t look at these facilities as being the end of our efforts but rather the beginning.  They are training grounds before a captive audience where our teams can exercise and develop their gifts to minister the Gospel of the Kingdom to others.  In doing so they should be emboldened to take that same message to their lost friends, neighbors and co-workers.

Our incarceration evangelism leader has been involved in reaching the lost since getting involved in incarceration outreach in 1989 with Pastor Wayne.  Teams have been facilitated to go into Juvenile Detention Centers, Adult Jails, Nursing Care Facilities and inner city ministries for a long time.  The work is significant as we have seen thousands of people come to know Jesus as Lord through our efforts.  The most important event that has happened, however, is when a team member realizes the power they have to affect the world around them through spreading the Gospel message.

Our goal at Messiah Community is to create evangelists out of the body.  Every born again person is called to spread the Word of the Kingdom Message that Jesus saves.  The vehicle for delivering the Message takes on many different shapes and is driven in many different ways but the result is the same.  The Kingdom is increased, the work of the devil is stopped and the Kingdom of Heaven is established.  We desire to spread a net under our city that catches souls and preserves life…..You might call it a LifeNet.

2Ti 4:5 "But you be watchful in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry."

If you would like to get involved in a church that is doing the work of the ministry then come to Messiah Community and jump into action.
